Bible, to me, is the most inspiring of all the scriptural writings. It gives me hope when I am in despair, strength when I am weak, company when I am lonely, lifts me when I am falling, pulls me when I am sinking and settles me when I am unsettled. Who else can do this for me?

There are inconsistencies. I have noted them more than 3 decades ago. But if you look at the Bible from spiritual plane, the inconsistencies disappear. This is true of Srimad Bhagvat Gita too.
