In silence I walk,
Admiring life more silent.
The chirping of birds,
Grandiose in its wake.
Leaves rustle and welcome,
My presence as their own.
The gaze shifts entirely,
When I see an old couple.
They have grown old together,
Yet like nature,they are young.
They smile and pass by me,
Thankful that someone has seen.
The sun comes up knowingly,
It wants to hold hands with me.
I do shy at first but give in,
We walk together in comfort.
The flowers dance merrily,
I admire them for their skill.
The serene life all around,
Makes me humble and relaxed.
As I reach the end of the road,
I thank nature without words.
It returns my acknowledgement,
Ever so stylish in its simplicity.
