I am a girl,a normal college girl.I go to College, have a few friends who know me skin deep.I had been in a co-ed till school, had a boyfriend, enjoyed my school life to the fullest. Then without any compulsion,I decided of taking admission in a girls college.Initially,it was difficult to adjust, life seemed to have come to a halt, all I saw around were desperate girls, bitching, talking about lack of guys. But soon I found the positive part of it,honestly saying, its just the way you look at things that makes all the difference.Being in a girls college, you don't have to strive for any guy's attention,or as they say it "there r no more disturbing elements",you can dress up as you like and believe me,I've seen girls waking up and walking in college wearing pyjamas. You can be the I-dont-give-a-damn type girls or the ones dressed in skimpy outfits and nobody would give you those uncomfy stares or lewd comments. You'll realise the happiness of dressing as you like. Its all about "feeling" the freedom.Another thing I noticed is girls express their thoughts, themselves more better as compared to a co-ed.In a girls college, you talk about anything from sex to death, and it'll all be normal. The teachers are your friends, you can ask all what you always had inner doubts about without second thoughts. And the best part girls,Girls of Girls Colleges, are so much in demand wherever we perform-because we have developed that shield around us,and not given guys the right to subject us to their scrutiny.I have seen girls in co-ed colleges,so very conscious of everything because there is the opposite sex ready to grab every chance at them. And these 3 yrs in girls college had made me much more confident of myself,I can be blunt,I can give "in-your-face" replies,I have found "myself" .So,girls, see the other side of the coin and you'll see,a girl's college is also so much fun and even better in some terms!
