You, in your self-righteousness,
So innocent and pure of heart,
Say unto me that we must part ways
The day of my return home,
Which I find so utterly convenient
Considering the day before
You finally broke the shackles
of your completely horrid life
You poor wretched victim, you.
Growing under such unfortunate circumstances,
I at one time
Could sympathize with your situation.
However,
I feel no pity for you now
You vile weaver of lies,
and slave to your own victimization.
Starving for the attention that escaped you,
You turned to me
Seeking what you most desired
To sink your venomous fangs into.
I unwittingly became your prey,
and I loathe you for sapping my life;
2 and a half years that I can never reclaim.
I loved you once.
But the moment you left,
What you left me with
Were scars from your gnashing teeth
and a wound upon my back
From a knife with an endless blade.
Devoting myself to you,
and to help you fly free,
Was a fruitless operation,
for which I was the barren tree.
I may harbor a hatred for you that runs deep,
but please, live your life to the fullest extent,
You horrible fool.
For on your current path,
You will leave a trail of sorrow,
and have only yourself to blame.
Have a wondrous time
With the nothingness that shall wait for you
At the end of your path.
