I had decided what to do when I reached India, I would make the ship a reality and set off in a journey with it. I had all the plans of the ship from the model, the only probelm was, how would I ever get enough money to make the ship with? But this didn't worry me much, because I knew that if I had made it in the future, I will have to make it now too.
The answer came as I stepped down the gangplank in order to take my first step on the ground of India. A reception comitee was gathered at the bottom of the steps, all the other passengers had passed right through it, but when I came, a voive boomed through a megaphone 'Aur, hamare das crodeve yatri ka svagut kiya jai.' It was in hindi, I had came prepared, so I knew the meaning of this (And, make our passenger no. 10 crore comfortable), at least it was something like this. Garlands were heaved around my shoulders and trumpets were sounded. The weight of the numerous garlands was so heavy that it became the reason for my fainting. If I got a dollar for every time I have fainted, I would be a millionaire. I again woke up in hospital. A person was sitting by me ha said," Sorry for your surprise sir, but it is a tradition that the 10 croreth person to arrive in India be given a cheque of 10 crore Rupees. And with a florish, he took a cheque from his pocket. I counted the zeros after the 1, I counted them again. I gave a sigh of relief and fainted, again.
