Holding my hand,
Ever so strongly.
Letting me go,
Whenever the need be.
Being there always,
As spine for support.
Discussions between us,
For life's own boat.
Braving the sun for me,
Believing in me proudly.
Emotions shown but few,
In heart,they reside on cue.
Picking up a new craft,
Dropping a bad apple.
Riding the fair vehicle,
Leaving the shady part.
To guide and love,
To believe and dream.
My dad taught me,
To hold on to my sheen.
Ever so thankful I am,
To the almighty above.
He gave me his form,
In my father's vast alcove.
