Freedom..really?

What will freedom give,
In the absence of peace.
Will it give joy to soul,
Or will it be dismissed.
Time comes and retreats,
In the hope of a view.
Will my freedom be sacred,
Or will it be tied for due.
What will freedom give,
In the absence of justice.
Will it make a beggar smile,
Or will that be abolished.
Shadow comes and retreats,
In the wake of the sun.
Will your freedom be alive,
Or will it die in your grave.
What will freedom give,
In the absence of love.
Will it give security to soldier,
Or will it be a reason for fear.
Thought comes and retreats,
In the battle for opinion.
Will everyone be free equally,
Or will it be divided in piece.
