What are we doing on this big green earth?
What have we really done for good since birth?
Little will we really know for some time to come
When our life on earth is truly done.
I’m not really speaking for you but for me
I’ve got a lot to do before anyone can see
The fruit of my labor and touching the needy
Over the years, I haven’t been that speedy
Ten thousand lives to touch before I leave here
It’s a great goal and let me make this clear.
My goal is not for me but it is for the other
Reaching and blessing and serving one another
I have no idea what this writing is all about
Accept that I live my life with no doubt
That my rewards may not be here on this sphere
But one day in eternity, I want to hear.
Good work, old buddy, come on in!!
The world is in real need of such people...
