I cried in college today

I don't really know why,
But I cried in college today.
I've been tired for quite some time,
Unable to find a way.

Maybe it was the bruises,
Or the muscle pull and sprain.
Maybe it was my indifference,
And the lack of any pain.

I'd thought my busy schedule,
Would keep my mind off you.
I thought I'd forget,
But the hurt only grew.

I wish I'd said then,
What I needed to say.
I wish I'd cried that night,
Instead of falling apart today.
