Darkness of the hour,
Sunshine of the mind.
In a state of plasma,
To each of my kind.
Gliding through life,
Swimming through death.
Kneeling before god,
At someone else's behest.
Loving the damp plains,
Hating the swanky hills.
Enjoying the round croissant,
Detesting the coffee spills.
Driving through the mind,
Walking through the soul.
Living a glorious dream,
One which would take its toll.
What purpose do I serve,
Which person do I meet.
The maker shall decide,
Before my next hasty retreat.
In the sweat of the rain,
In the shiver of the cloud.
I thus seek silence of mine,
For I have spoken out loud.
