Wow, it’s almost Thanksgiving for us
Soon 2013 will be in air like the dust.
I’m not sure how this really happened
But I’d better get, better get a snappin.
I have lots of things I wanted to complete
But this year is almost gone nice and neat
You know time is one thing we shouldn’t waste
This year I’ve really had my taste
Well then, the only thing we can really do
Is keep going and not become too blue
Each year that passes, we should learn some things
We must learn always before the eternal bell rings
We should keep dreaming of a better place
We must shoot for our goals and run the race
Not against others as some always do
But against ourselves, that’s the one clue
Shoot for the stars and at least you will see the moon
Keep moving and never quit for it’s always too soon
To stop in our track
And never go back.
Yes, there is a pot at the end of the bow
It’s in what you make it, isn’t that so?
Press onward and upward toward what you desire
Then to yourself you won’t be a liar.
New years come and new years will go
Sometimes very fast and others move slow
Make the most of what He’s given you each day
Touch others, do good, and love someone along the way
