The pause was less,
The line was crossed.
Tears fell on the cheek,
Into abyss they were lost.
The pause was more,
The words did not leave.
She went away rapidly,
Leaving my mind in despair.
The speed was fast,
The rapids swept away the boat.
My livelihood in wooden pieces,
Dissolved into nothingness soon.
The speed was slow,
I could not watch her walk.
My child's first steps of freedom,
Lost in her father's silent climb.
The agony was less,
I played the entire game.
Bleeding yet never stopping,
I succeeded where others failed.
The agony was more,
I became a wandering soul.
Purpose of life I didn't seek,
Into a lost kingdom I entered.
