I am a City Girl by heart

 

I was born in a Windy City

 

By age one I took my first baby step.

 

I took those baby steps on a bus ride

 

On the way to the Magnolia state

 

Is it too late?

I was born in the city but raised in the country

 

I got married to a country guy with the love of southern charm in his eye.

 

Will I ever or shall I never live the life of the hustle and bustle?

Can I live the life  that I've always dreamed of?

 

Or should it be put on hold?

 

I have little kids you know.

 

Two little girls from the ages two and four.

 

So will it be a county door or a city door?

 

Little county girl or little city girl?
