You should love someone only if you can maintain the love for life. But is it possible to know before hand how long you will love, how long the love will last? I do not know. May be, you can guess.

When young, man-woman love is passionate, wild for some. With age, love softens for most of us. There is no such thing as love after death. It is just a poetic way of expressing the intensity of love. I have been thinking for long to post something about this love which last beyond death. Things are to be clarified which no one has done in history, to the best of my knowledge.
