An eternity to embrace,
A dilemma to brave.
What entails our lives,
Is it selfish love or selfless lust.
Many times cog in wheels,
Not wandering on the hard road.
Much too less a smile of delight,
Peeking for its hidden pleasure.
Toiling in the mind on sultry days,
An escape,perhaps,from the doom.
A flickering hope of two souls meeting,
Not aided by the presence of words.
The air is heavy with desire,
Too thick for love to penetrate.
Yet fingers of mine are crossed,
Flowing to land of truth in earnest.
Is one a companion of other,
Or is it merely a shadow of retreat.
Lust or love for the people who bother,
A multi layer emotion of unknown conceit.
