It was a bright summer morning of May. Raghav opened the curtains of the only window in his small room. Through the window he saw rickshaw drivers having morning tea, a old man with his bhel puri stand, a girl wearing blue patiala salvar with a backpack standing in front of the door of the house just opposite to his own and few kids flying kites on the roofs of the houses in distant. She is must be new here he thought.

Knock! Knock!

"Beta breakfast is ready", said his mother standing outside the door of his room.

"Coming in 2 minutes", said he.

Raghav is a 12th class student who dreams to be in IIT-Delhi. He belongs to a middle class family which consists of his mother who is a housewife, his dad who is a banker, his younger sister who lost her voice in an accident 2 years back. She is closest to him and knows every vein in his body.

Raghav quickly takes a bath, get dressed and comes downstairs to help his mother set the table for breakfast. His father as always is reading the morning newspaper and his sister is making the breakfast. She runs and hugs him as soon as she sees him. He smiles at her affection and kisses on her forehead. Their mother who knows their bond very well also smiles.

"Good morning dad" said he looking for a reaction from his dad.

"Good morning", said his father without even lowering his newspaper to look at him.

But Raghav doesn't care because right now his mind is lost in the thoughts of the girl he saw in the morning. After breakfast, he heads towards his tuition. All along the way his mind wonders about the new girl. Why doesn't she leaves my mind? he thought.

He passes by an old bridge, a Catholic church, Lord Ram's Temple, few shops of clothes and a park to reach his his tuition classes. He parks his cycle nearby and enters the class. To his astonishment the new girl is sitting in the same class. she's breautiful he whispers to himself and walks over his bench where his friend is already waiting for him.

After the class while returning home he finds the new girl standing on the old bridge. He stops and walks up to her.

"Hey, you are new in this city, right?" he asks.

She turned towards him and said, "Yeah so?"

"Actually we are in same class. I mean tuition class."

"Oh I didn't noticed"

Damn! he thought.

"And you live just opposite to my house too"

"Really?"

"I saw you this morning. I think you were waiting for someone."

"I was waiting for a rickshaw"

Weather was changing; now few drops of water were falling from the sky announcing the rain. They both understood and started walking together.

"Anyway from where you have come?"

"I used to live in some village nearby when my dad got transferred and we moved to city."

"Ice-cream?"

"Ice-cream? What?"

Raghav pointed towards a ice-cream stall on the side of the road.

"I will have a chocobar ice-cream", she said.

Raghav smiled, walked up to stall to and brought two chocobars.

"I like it too", he said. She smiled.

When they finally reached their home, Raghav said, "I am Raghav."

"Nice to meet you Raghav" she said and went inside her house.

Raghav stood still staring at the door of her house unable to distinguish between reality and illusions while rain slowly drenched him.

"Beta come inside or you will fall ill", said his mother from the window of his room.

"Coming Maa", said he and went inside.
