First thing i like about this novel is Murakami prose, its simple and subtle. This novel shows how little things can be beautiful, sad and memorable. All the characters are strong in their own way. After completing this book i felt self changing experience which is very rare. It depicts the everyday routine in a surreal way which can be appreciated in our lives after reading the book. Murakami is a master of making conversations, he handled the characters so well we can dive in instantly and the descriptions are compelling. One way this is a simple romantic coming age love story but i found philosophy about life, friendship, time and death. Each page wants you to remember and cherish the forgotten memories about the teen age days and the lost innocence with it. This book is a treasure because the way it shows the simplistic nature of life and reminds us how beautiful it is always. I think good books can become part of readers thoughts and make impact on their live, Norwegian wood one of those books.
