Girls counting teeth,
clouds count hugs
from their neighbours,
earth kissed by raindrops
blushes all green
petrichor fills
soul,
self
and nostrils.
Mayna's skin
shines bright
dust washed away
in rain's mercy
logs of wood melt
like hard hearts
where love has just made way
like a melting candle,
the log is soft
and piercing the log
are macho sun rays.
Maroon -white mashrooms grow
and are plucked and eaten
by roadside loitering children.

They only see the broken teeth
and forget that the mashrooms
are spreading poison too
where they cannot see....
until they twist themsleves
in-side-out.

Without food...
for stomach
and for thoughts
without!
