A moment of decision,
A lifetime of regret.
What had I hoped for,
What did I really get.
Rotten tomatoes galore,
Instead of good garlands.
A place in devil's home,
Rather than in god's cell.
The tide did turn fast,
Not for but against me.
I had let go of my beloved,
While we were sailing in sea.
The look of her eyes told all,
To be with me before the fall.
I had not cared more that day,
I had let go before she could stay.
The flood had swept my heart,
All alone,I battled it limply.
The hand that slipped that day,
Made me insane along the way.
