Srijan here. I know I’ve been somewhat out of touch for the last few months. Here’s the reason:
I have been working my butt off. And finally, now, I have something to show you. I present to you,

WriterBabu is something that I have conceived and built from scratch. WriterBabu is about creativity, it’s about art, expression, but mostly it’s about freedom.
After surviving 4 fruitful, challenging, frustrating and remarkable years at IIT, I came out full of questions. Questions like: Why can’t I express myself freely? Why do I want to burst out with the explosive creativity that I know I have inside me, but hesitate at the last moment?
I think I have some of the answers now. I thought about a lot of things. For example, many a time I wanted to write something, and before I even began, I was thinking about what others would think. I feared that they might laugh at me, or judge me. That I’ll have a hell lot of explaining to do.
And then an apple fell on my head. Just like that. And I went crazy. The apple said to me:
“Damn perception. Damn acceptance. Write. Art is not for the afraid.”
“But the world doesn’t know me like this!” I replied.
He smiled, like he had an ace up his sleeves, and said: “Let go of your name. Let others see only your creation.”
OH, AND IT WORKED! It worked like magic for me, and I know it would for you too. The apple is now on available for all on the small little thing which world calls the Internet. To fall on the heads of creative souls like you and me and the many thousands waiting for catharsis.
So don’t hesitate anymore. Leave your public image behind. Hell, leave your personal image behind. Start afresh. Start without a name.
And write.
Writing is fun. Sadly, it is a dying practice in our generation. Let’s give it some fresh life. Let’s put down the beautiful moments we see everyday, mundane things like the breathtaking beauty of the setting sun... talking about all that would otherwise make you the laughing stock among your friends (I know it would among mine :P). Let’s share our stories, our lives; let’s preserve our many wonderful, traumatic, heart-warming, heart-rending, memorable experiences.
