The most certain thing is that we think of a solution and then arrive at a conclusion before the malady actually occurs. We spend hours imagining something which is neither going to help us out in any way nor figure out why such gruesome thoughts haunt us all day long. To make this confusion more “creatively happen”, we connect it with our thinking – whether it is positive or negative because this is how we categorize and define our social circle. With passion, people support their justifications, and disagreements with words and gestures and an unpleasant smile and full sincerity, in race to become someone who is philosophically superior and socially, a HERO.

Now, the actual problem is that we all struggle to create our own identity and our hunger, our craze for this palpable yet ill-defined goal are symptomatic of a wider still unknown social malaise. We can link it up with unseemly class demonstration. People are hoarding valuable ideas without any cause and the same is being transmitted through genes to their innocent though considered to be rueful results of their lovemaking. This downward flow is the main reason behind all the social wrongs and psychological denial on their rectifications; and before the failure, comes refusal from the political front because these stalwarts have their own demands to be appreciated as great, for every obligation to be performed, as they are self-claimed national kids who have to be bribed with gift-“wrapped” chocolates. We, the people of India, are representative of the three monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi – deaf, dumb and blind, ironically and literally. It can be well-established that administration is weak here, because even those who have power to make choices, power to elect, is weak. These social beings know how to impose, but not to implement. Implementation starts at home – but this is also vaguely and wrongfully understood.

The most appropriate platform for every experiment as well as too much concentrated plus unwanted discussion is our own home, with limited and same audience and viewers. We can waste hours giving lectures to those immature creatures because we understand that it is an important part of their upbringing. It is our fundamental duty to inject in their veins some social and moral values which are culturally authenticated, so that if it worked we can take pride and treat the little fellow as our trophy and take all the credits in his victory, and needless to mention that again, it is we, who have to be appreciated and praised for our difficult contributions and endeavors. What if the child does not perform up to his parents’ expectations? The repeated failures and accepted defeats have always shown the straight way to upheavals. Here, the sarcasm and avoidance proves to be slam-dunk lesson – a lesson that whatever is imposed must be implemented. This is a lesson to make the child “DISCIPLINED”. To err is human, but elders have crossed the line. They are inactive demigods and they have no responsibility towards the society which is longing for the urgent need to change and for these good changes to be enforced. Now, the future is full of plans and preachment, and present is empty, but the present lack people who have the strength to bear the burden of tragedies, ailments of people etc. Why does the enthusiasm towards transition to ensure well-being in entirety, fades away with time? And, this is quicker than the effect.

Why one has to impose or preach things which he himself could not do, and then blabber about every rightful and wrongful activity of others? We all are so addicted to gossiping, and now this addiction has become an epidemic. The social, political or cultural transition, if ever takes place, is always sporadic. We are masters at making comparisons, but have no natural instincts of making confession to self, or of blaming oneself before blaming the system, or of acting as our own mirror so that our own thoughts reflect to us, or of washing away our own footprints which may show the direction to dirty deeds. Confrontation to oneself can never mean being coward, or wipeout of the self-made but abysmal record of bravery which is unknown to others. People have this inbuilt character which always makes comparisons and complains of grass being greener on the other side. Own failure is the fault of some supernatural power who decides our fates and writes our destiny, and has been partial, may be because He also wanted some offerings and will now be blamed for being the “Guru” of corrupted minds. These people are the devilish saints because of their bad habits of not implementing what they preach. The first change comes from within; the change has to be in our own thoughts and power to speak has not guaranteed any change towards a better and more civilized world – so stop complaining and start making own efforts with motivation, inspiration, rationality, aspiration and passion. Earlier, the dream was to change, now, the change is to dream.
