I looked around to decipher what my surroundings signified.
Was it just me or had 'reality' changed shape for everyone?
I advanced upon the path, the path that led to disclosure.
What if the lullabies, the chants,
the hugs, the cuddles,
the strive, the endeavours,
were an illusion?
A facade that concealed the other realm?
The bells finally rang to announce the end, or was it another commence?
A silhouette was borne, the only sign of life I could detect.
It encapsulated my interest, urging me hence to follow it.
The only epitome of life in that hollow realm, that realm of confusion, uncertainty.
That mystification was not a creation of my mind's restlessness,
it was inspired by the non-existence of any co-existence.
I reached the door, it refused to budge.
My curiosity built but so did the fear; fear to let go of my 'reality'.
I knew all along it was nothing but a dream, and as it ends so will any sensation.
