It was a typical Saturday afternoon… Or was it?

I am a lazy piece, and so was my Saturday morning. I skipped my morning session of workout that day and rejoiced my beauty sleep instead. Waking up to realize that I badly needed a bicycle. Well, it wasn’t a sudden realization, but buying it at that moment was madness. Nevermind, waking my brother up, I insisted we go buy a bicycle right away. So, we left (yeah, we did :D). Moved around from one store to another, until the heavy downpour caught us and we were stuck in a store, waiting… Some more waiting… Some more waiting and some more, till we could wait no more and dashed out. While it was still raining, we decided we would get the cycle and only then, ride back home. The weather surely didn’t favor our opinion. Totally drenched and starved, we decided to go home and check out again in the evening. We laid our lazy asses and grabbed some food, waiting for the rain to slow down, but the rain seems to in at its best that day, deciding not to slow down.

But us being us, decided to take no shit and left home. Rode to store, soaked in rain. And there it was, my cycle awaiting in the corner “UT HT3″.

Back to reality (take one):

I know that it’s Jon Snow, who knows nothing. But I would like to admit, that I clearly understood nothing (Please don’t judge me :)), at first. Eventually i understood a bit (Of course I did, shut up now! ). Sleek and shining beauty, assembled and ready to be out on the roads.

Bangalore is known for its beautiful climate. But it is pretty much drunk some days. There are days when you step out, the weather is all bright and sunny and then out of no where, the dark cloud approaches. You can’t really be sure, that since it’s summer, you can actually put on that pretty little summer dress and head out.

It rains whenever it wants to, mid of summer or winter.

Nevermind!

Back to reality (take two):

Being soaked in the rain is a beautiful sin to commit. And after riding this bicycle, believe me, it was worth it. Splashing the puddle on my way, I was reliving my childhood. My brother slowly following and checking on me so that I don’t get into any trouble :D. The wind, mixed with droplets touching my face, cooling my exterior. Where, the constant paddling kept my interior warm and my heart thumping. Slicing the darkness I drove, I never felt so alive before. That was my best ride home. And a special mention to the weather for its behavior that day, “Right in your Face, Weather” :D
