The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page of it. Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it brings a change that is deep and permanent, in our daily life and the concept of living. It is about mingling with the locals, trying their type of cuisine and for a certain period becoming one of them. It means getting lost in the crowd as a part of them, it is about experiencing their traditional art forms and appreciating it. It is also about meeting new people. It is about trying and appreciating new things, it is about gaining knowledge about a particular place and related event. It is about broadening one’s mind, making it more liberal and rising high above the stereotypes.
But the real reason for traveling for many is to escape from the monotony of the normal life. 8 hours work with only a day to claim as holiday in a whole week is too much for a person to bear. Thus, whenever they are free they start searching for a place to visit. In today’s world with busy work schedule and congested roads, family and friends come last in our priority list. And the only way to take a break is to go on a vacation.
Travelling is not about reaching the destination it is about enjoying the journey. So break out from the monotony of life, grab a map, choose an unknown destination and spend some time knowing yourself and the world.
