UNDERSTANDING TERRORISM

I have been quite active on this website for the last one month and most of the times my work was on heartbreak poems.Now,since i am not sure when i will be writing here next i thought i will write on few totally different issues;) So, here i go...

I was constantly pondering over why at all terrorist ruin the social peace that too risking their own life.Knowing that their act would lead to imprisonment or dead sentence.In some cases i see suicide bombers.I just can't believe someone could do that.Out of curiosity to know what goes inside their brain each moment i just browsed Google to know the psychology of terrorist and found these.

Horgan found that people who are more open to terrorist recruitment and radicalization tend to:

1. Feel angry,alienated or disenfranchised .

2.Believe that their current political involvement does not give them the power to effect real change.

3.Identify with perceived victims of social injustice they are fighting.

4.Believe that engaging in violence against the state is NOT immoral.

5.Believe that joining a movement offers social and psychological rewards such as adventure,camaraderie and a heightened sense of identity.

By these we can conclude ANGER,PAIN,IMMORALITY and sometimes ADVENTURE evokes terrorism.

The other day i was reading Durjoy Dutta's IF IT'S NOT FOREVER.It sharply focuses on the fear of an individual who just escaped a bomb blast.Believe me even i got scared the way a bomb blast could have an impact on someone's mind.It really destroys the peace of mind.They live with fear with the rest of their life and get paranoid.

I have also read this: "WE RESPECT A SOLDIER WHO TAKES A BULLET IN THE WAR,A PERSON WHO LEADS VARIOUS MOVEMENTS TO ACHIEVE A PARTICULAR GOAL AND EVEN A TERRORIST
FIGHTS FOR FEW GOALS SELFLESSLY RISKING HIS LIFE THEN WHY DON'T WE RESPECT THEM?".

what have you people got to say with this??

This is what i say: There is a major difference between the ideas of a leader in a movement and a terrorist and that is VIOLENCE. Yeah,at times the strikes or movements get violent and people get injured but,their is no harm to the innocent people around.
May be a terrorist is ready to die to achieve certain goals that he thinks is for social welfare but,is it right to take these steps? Isn't it annoying to destroy social peace to achieve something?

Yeah there are some religious issues coming in between terrorist and their believes.Often they speak of Islam and connect terrorism.But,i don't wish to take that up,as i don't want my post to judged on the grounds of religion.
I just want to talk on terror in minds of an individual and i believe we must all come together to work for SOCIAL PEACE.

I now want you people to express your views on how you think we can work for social peace.
