Uncovering forgotten tomes
What might be this reality
Gazing upon new horizons
With dark clouds of obscurity
Afraid to seek out what is lost
This universal truth
The mouth that must devour time
Bares a jagged tooth

No philosophy
Nor this reality
Can present the reason for humanity
Accidental cause
Possible destiny

As we make progression
Surely we must fall
The cosmic will of nameless forces
Will consume us all
Whether it be by our hand
Or simply we must go
There will be no one to miss
Those that were never known
If black clouds all bore silver linings
The smallest glimpse of hope
Mankind's unpropitiousness
Presents it as a joke

No philosophy
Nor this reality
Can present the reason for humanity
Accidental cause
Possible destiny
