Why are gals so desperate?

I see them every where. They dot the shoreline..making sea unwatchable...they crowd our malls. Throng tiny eateries..make parks inaccessible.

Pretty young things with boyfriends in tow. I see them coming from afar..as I walk along the beach. Snuggling, lovey dovey couples, arm in arm, giggling to the fore.

But the strangest thing is..the prettiest gal is often hooked to the plainest looking guy!
Now that's a big mystery.

Sometimes the guy looks so shady, as if he's from some seedy chawl..but the girl, all dolled up, in tights seems to have come straight from a shoot!
Strange combination indeed.

Some of those couples look so young, as if in mid elevens!
Not kidding!
Just pay a visit to Mumbai and you'll agree.

Now what I can't get, is why are gals so desperate? That they latch on to ANY guy????And then later when bored, chase another one?
Is it some qualifier or something? That one HAS to do to look COOL?

Really?

Well, for me,
..the one who can walk alone with head held high..
who doesn't need any funny guy as prop..
who can stand up on her own.
the one who waits for her real guy..for as long it takes..maybe till she's 80!
who doesn't bother about peer pressure.
who's strong, dignified, educated and is morally upright.
Now she's the the coolest one for me!
