How I wish I could fly,
Into a land of peace.
An atmosphere of happiness,
Coming from within.
No jugglery of words,
A plain,resounding truth.
A concoction of satisfaction,
Made to the finest degree.
How I wish I could be free,
From the petty talk around me.
Of people who do not bother,
My existence and its absence.
Recurrence of hate in abeyance,
Dragging self to the light above.
In savoring the gift of time,
Mundane life will once again become vibrant.
How I wish I could be patient,
To see my dream to fruition.
To know my worth is still alive,
In someone's heart of warmth.
