Every time I peek out that window,
I wish to see my dreams,
The world I have seen in sleep,
A world of peace with beautiful streams,
A land of bliss with laughter around,
And love to other like none around.

The real sight frightens me,
It saddens me more.
With the fear of laughter all around,
Blood flows out as stream all round.
People killed, by the people killing,
This isn’t a world I thought,
A world promised in the sleep
9 months inside the womb.
Women raped, Children killed,
Men shot, Markets bombed,
None other, we planted the fear,
We made it difficult over the year.
This isn’t a world I wished to see,
A world contradicting my dreams,
A world I didn’t wish to see,
Every time I peek out that window.
